Signature Colour Analysis
The Signature Colour Analysis provides a complete exploration of your personalised palette and how to use it confidently in everyday life.
Together, we’ll identify both your home season and sub-season, allowing us to refine your colours with far greater precision. We’ll then individually analyse all 33 colours within your personalised palette, exploring which shades are most effective as wardrobe foundations, neutrals, accent colours and statement pieces.
Rather than simply being told your colours, you’ll learn how to wear them. We’ll explore colour combinations, contrast levels, outfit building and how to create a wardrobe where colours naturally work together. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of why certain colours make you look brighter, healthier and more vibrant, and how to use that knowledge when shopping, styling outfits and choosing makeup.
We’ll also colour-match your most flattering makeup shades and create a personalised routine using colours that complement your palette.
To support you long after your appointment, you’ll take home a luxury physical swatch book featuring all 33 colours from your personalised palette. Combined with your digital Seasonal Starter Guide, complete with hand-picked high street recommendations, you’ll have everything you need to shop with confidence and precision.

Colour Parties at Vera Rae
Whether you’re celebrating a birthday, planning a girls’ day out, gathering the family together or simply looking for a unique way to spend time with friends, a Vera Rae Colour Party is an experience you’ll be talking about long after the last glass of fizz.
Designed for small groups of up to six, this relaxed and interactive session combines colour discovery, styling insights and plenty of fun as each guest uncovers the colours that help them look and feel their best.
Each guest will enjoy a personalised mini colour analysis, discovering their most flattering seasonal palette, key neutrals, metallics and makeup shades. You’ll also receive your own personalised swatch card to take away, making future shopping and outfit choices easier and more confident.
Expect plenty of “I never would have guessed that!” moments, lots of laughter and a whole new way of looking at colour.
Complimentary fizz, cakes and refreshments are included, making it the perfect addition to birthdays, family celebrations, hen parties, friendship groups, women’s organisations and social clubs.
And if timings allow, why not make a day of it and arrive in style via the Steam Railway? Vera Rae is located directly opposite Ballasalla Station.

During your session, we'll:

The Signature appointment goes beyond simply discovering your season—it's about understanding exactly how to use colour in your wardrobe, makeup and shopping decisions with confidence and precision.
To ensure the most accurate colour assessment, please arrive with a fresh, makeup-free face and, if you have long hair, wear it tied back from your face. A top with a lower neckline is also recommended, as this allows me to clearly assess your natural colouring and features.
Where possible, please avoid applying fake tan in the days leading up to your appointment, as this can affect the accuracy of your results.
During your session, we'll explore makeup shades that complement your colouring, and I will apply a simple personalised makeup look to demonstrate the impact of wearing the right colours. You're also welcome to bring your own makeup if you'd like guidance on shades that work best for you.
Yes. In fact, many women are surprised to discover that not all neutrals are created equal.
Colour analysis helps identify which neutrals work best for your natural colouring - whether that's navy, charcoal, chocolate brown, taupe, soft grey or black - so your wardrobe feels more flattering and cohesive.
You'll also discover the versions of your favourite colours that work best for you, making it easier to add interest and variety to your wardrobe without stepping outside your comfort zone.
For most clients, yes - and usually in a very positive way.
Once you understand your best colours, shopping becomes quicker, easier and more intentional. Rather than being drawn to colours that look beautiful on the hanger but rarely get worn, you'll know exactly what to look for.
Many clients find they make fewer impulse purchases, build a more versatile wardrobe and get significantly more wear from the clothes they buy because everything works together more naturally.
Not at all. Your colour analysis is based on your natural colouring - your skin tone and eye colour - rather than your current hair shade. If your hair is dyed a completely different colour from your natural tone, I may use a neutral bandana to cover it during the session so it doesn’t influence the results. I’ll also advise on hair colours that best complement your palette if you're open to change.

I want you to feel completely comfortable and relaxed during your appointment, so I will always ask you prior to our session starting if you would be happy for me to do so.
To secure your booking, a 50% deposit is required of the total amount when completing the booking form. Payment can be made easily by card or Apple Pay through my secure SumUp checkout. The remaining balance is payable at the end of your appointment by card or Apple Pay only.
Each Vera Rae session is a carefully prepared, luxury experience, with time and resources reserved exclusively for you. If you need to reschedule or cancel, you’re very welcome to do so up to 48 hours before your appointment by contacting me directly, and your deposit will be fully transferred or refunded.
As preparation begins well in advance, any changes made within 48 hours of your appointment will result in the deposit being forfeited. A new deposit would then be required should you wish to rebook. Thank you so much for understanding and respecting the care that goes into every session.
